Chicken rice is a hot favorite dish for all Singaporeans and i'm no exception. Usually i only like to have rice if the dishes goes well with it but for chicken rice, anytime!! The chicken rice from this stall turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Though it was a portion of chicke breast served but it tasted nice. The chicken meat got a nice tenderness and juiciness and not dry in texture. They drizzled a little chicken oil over the chicken before served so it added flavour to the chicken meat. This is a memorable dinning moment for me because my partner called when he was in the vicinity and offered to take away a packet of my favourite chicken rice for my dinner. He knows this is one of my favourite for chicken rice in Ang Mo Kio area and he knows i always wanted an extra packet of chilli. Such is his way of showing love for me. Simple yet practical type of love. I am always a fan of Chicken Rice. I usually go for the roasted chicken but i do like the white chicken at times This particular chicken rice stall only served the white chicken with good quality chicken rice. Both chicken and rice are slightly better than average. The chicken has always cooked nicely to give it the tenderness and juiciness. Some white chicken can be quite oily but those from this stall have never been the case. The rice has gotten a taste of chicken broth and cooked to the right texture.
