上年來新加坡已經幫襯過一次。一直念念不忘，今次一到埗就立即book枱，希望帶同伴們來試試。可惜，預早三天預約，亦都fully booked, 唯有，排waitlist 😮‍💨好彩得到幸運之神眷顧，今早突然收到「有位」通知！😝一行被特別眷顧的五人，因為花多眼亂，不知食什麼好，於是決定再一次唔靠自己…😂今次靠餐廳推介！原則只係一個：no crazy spicy stuff 😂先揀了三個頭盤：encore 黃金杯！再加一個貌似豆腐但其實係有芋頭香的立體卷，再加上平靚正沙嗲雞串！主菜：先來一個好香鹹蛋味嘅蝦，再配上一個咖喱雞，當然要拼埋個薄餅。再嚟一個「廚師推介」的炒菇。最後配個海南雞飯套餐，同埋試吓另一個廚師推介的薑黃椰汁飯！（超級正，另一個平靚正之選）甜品：當然係晚餐重點！😂「廚師推介」娘惹糕，少少甜，暖暖的，很香椰子味！另一個要推的是椰子雪糕，清新，少甜，特別合不好甜的朋友。而好甜的，可以揀菠蘿蛋糕！希望下次有機會再來！☺️

來新加坡旅遊，一直想一嚐久聞的娘惹菜。但之前曾路過商場中的一間娘惹餐廳，餐廳傳來陣陣怪味，令我開始對娘惹菜失去興趣，以為所有娘惹菜也會是怪怪的！😅慶幸，我們都決定一試，在網上找到新加坡十大推介娘惹菜餐廳，亦明智地選擇了The National Kitchen By Violet Oon, 它們有很多分店，妹妹帶了我們去National Gallery 那店，順道提升我們的藝術修養！🤣店內環境優雅，但氣氛不會像fine dinning般拘謹，可能因為是lunch time，server 們都很friendly, 向我們提介不少” must try items.”, 而每款推介都係喜出望外，媽媽至妹妹都讚不絕口，連醬汁也不放過！🤣🤣🤣會來新加坡旅行的大家，記得一定要試！👍🏻Btw 他們3-6pm 會closed. 要食lunch, 最好先致電book 枱及早少少來。他們價錢不貴，但食物質素超班，環境一流，性價比高。娘惹菜多數也是辣辣的，所以不吃辣的，要先同server 溝通，他們絕對會有好提議的！😁😁

This is recommended by our friends who live in SG, we had a drink first at Aura which is on the top floor of the National Gallery & the view of MBS area is beautiful. An extremely pleasant experience for high tea. The sampling of Peranakan dishes was eye opening and made us wanting more. The dry laksa was especially good. The atmosphere and class of the restaurant really stood out and we will definitely go back for dinner on our next Singapore adventure.
