FoodMy colleagues was talking about this stall over the past few months and finally they had brought me there during lunch hours.Ordered brown rice with 3 other dishes and it costs me S$3.40 in total. Comes with a mock chicken drumstick, mock char siew, ladies fingers and mixed vegetables. The brown rice are rather moist, thus soft. The chicken drumstick was cut into pieces and the mock portion of the chicken bone was replaced by a sugarcane stick. The Dou Ki (Beancurd skin) are tied to a knot. Overall the food tastes ok and quite filling.Rojak, S$2.50 was close to the usual taste we got from the hawkers. Although shrimp paste was not included, their taste is as good. Fruits like guava, pineapple and even red ginger plant bud were included. You Tiao (Fried Fritters) and Tau Pok (Fried Beancurd) are crispy and fresh too. The sweet sauce that was included was topped with lots of roasted ground peanuts, smells good!ServiceThere are also some "zi char" menu available from the stall, however i was told that those ordering "zi char" can go straight up to the counter and order, avoiding the queues. They are quite helpful as they will shout to alert the customers when the carpark attendants arrives. AmbienceLocated below the HDB blocks, queues are rather long during the lunch hours. Every tables comes with a glass top easier for cleaner to clean away the left over. It seems that it is a taxi driver meetup place as i can see alot of them gathers there.PricePrice is rather reasonable with such big portions. Recommendation / TipsThere are alot of varieties (E.g. Char Kway Tiao, Roti Prata) on the menu. Do try them! Do also note that the rojak is available on certain days only. continue reading

Once in a while I will still crave for vegetarian meal to cleanse my palate. You can be spoit for choices now especially at Nature Vegetarian Delights. This place was introduced by a friend. I went for a vegetarian meal with my friends and ordered some dishes such as the vegetarian curry mutton, water seacress soup, fried tofu and spinach with mushroom. The dishes from this restaurant is still pretty good. The taste of it is still alright. Enjoyed the fried tofu the best cause of the crispiness and curry mutton was the next best dish cause the curry was delicious. There are bento set and many burgers as well. Perhaps I will try it the next time. continue reading

For $0.80 , you can get a plain roti prata to start your day . I like the taste far better than other shops selling prata in the nearby neighbourhood. Egg prata is still my best choice ! I paid $1.30 for it and the price is very reasonable and delicious. The vegetable curry sauce tasted just right for me , not too salty or thick. As early as 6 plus in the morning to afternoon 1 pm , you can place order for the roti prata. The staffs are very friendly and helpful to the customers. There are two kopi uncles who make very nice and fragant coffee , tea or other drink. continue reading
