Brought a plate of the wanton noodle for lunch at this kopitiam. This plate of wanton noodle has a acceptable presentation which can be improved. As for the taste wise, the noodle is well seasoned, not too salty, the spicy level is not too hot but the sauce is quite oily. The noodle is well cooked and has a soft and QQ texture. Next the char siew is well grilled and has a soft and tender texture. A bowl of soup containing 3 mini wanton is also inlcuded. The soup has a light peppery taste and not

This coffee shop is ideal for late dinner. When i was there at 9.30 pm, about 80% of the stalls are still opened. This wanton noodle stall is one of them. A good portion of mee kia for $2.50 was served with vegetable and a few slices of nicely sliced char siew. It was served with 2 wantons in the soup. The tasty filling consists of minced meat and water chestnut was wrapped nicely in a piece of thin skin and cooked well. It tasted even great if eaten with the preserved green cut chilli. This is

As I was not feeling so hungry for lunch, I decided to eat noodles. I saw people queuing for the wanton noodles so I ordered myself a plate. The wanton noodles was cooked well and it is quite Q. The char siew meat slices was also tender and tasted great. The accompanying bowl of soup also has some wanton that is nice but rather small

Went for a late dinner after visited Grandpa. Surprised most stalls still opened in this coffeeshop at about 9pm. I was even given the choice of having wanton noodle or fishball noodle. I decided to go with wanton noodle as it seemed to be a more popular option than fishball noodle. I was given a choice between the $2.50 or the $3.00 portion. I was given a choice between the $2.50 or the $3.00 portion. I decided to go with $2.50 as i did not want to go to bed with a full stomach.

The portion was rather generous with a substantial amount of noodle and few pretty big slices of char siew and some veggies. It came with 3 pieces of wantons in the soup. Most importantly, no acidic taste spotted in the noodle.

A good choice if you are in this area and looking for late dinner. Recommended.
