I was wondering what to eat for lunch today & decided to go over to Wisma's Food Republic for lunch. After walking one round, I noticed this Odeon Beef Noodle. I've a vague impression that this is an old brand name, yet I've never try before! Since it has been years that I ate the hainanese style beef noodles, I decided to give it a try. I opted for the Dry version, which costs $6. A bit steep but given that this is at Food Republic, this is the price range. I was served this huge bowl of thick

Without any expectations, I took a bite of the beef slice & it turned out to be really good! The soup served separately also contained 3 beef balls. Thou i'm a beef-lover, but I dislike eating beef balls as most places sell beef balls that are chewy kind. This is different! The beef balls are soft & NO rubbery feel! The soup is also good.

At the end of my lunch, I felt satisfied with Odeon Beef Noodle & now I know where to head to when I have a beef craving!

So it's always a dilemma.Soup or dry? Then I almost always decide on the dry version.Just because it comes with soup The thick and viscous gravy was savoury and a little too generous with the salt. The soup? I always ask for refills.Sometimes though, it's watered down and well, i guess food prices are rising constantly.Even beef bones are expensive ok!That aside, if you see the murky interior of the soup, that's bone marrow. Eat well!
