I couldn't resist the smell of the meat from the hot plate which was very inviting. There was a queue eventhough it was way over lunch time, I ordered the sliced steak with japanese curry. Actually the food was good even without the curry which I reckoned was a bit too sweet. The steak smelled wonderfully grilled and the texture was tender and the corn was well seasoned too and with everything mixed together, it was fabulous!

Great service great food! I ordered hamburger steak meal which comes along with a side and a drink. I chose mashed potato as my side dish. It was a little too hard for my liking. As for the steak, it was perfect! I guess it's the garlic sauce that makes everything tasty! The steak is soft and tender. Honestly, i can easily have a second serving! It's just too delicious!

Not much difference between the pepper lunch stand alone store and the pepper lunch express. The biggest difference is probably the ambience. In this outlet, it is at Takashimaya food court. Crowded with people at all times, it is not a very good place if you would like to eat and hang out chit chat with your friends. You might just want to finish your food and go because it is simply too crowded and can get a little noisy during peak hours. Clean? It's only alright. I have seen cleaners merely wiped the trays and sometimes plates before stacking them up straight away. No washing is done.So this is a place to just satisfy your hunger. But quality wise, it is not compromised.

This pepper lunch is located inside the food court. Order a beef set with curry, the beef is very fresh and juicy as this is cooked by the hot plate itself with my rice as for the curry sauce is not spicy but is tasty. There's a sweet and little spicy taste on the curry itself but i also added a garlic special sauce for this. This sauce is put there and for us to self service to see if you want to put it anyway it's optional, there's quite afew sauce. Service wise still not bad but it's a self service stall so you will need to wait for quite awhile before you get your friend. During lunch hours the food court is full of people so it's better to go with afew friend so there's someone looking after the seat else there's no much seat available .. The price is about $5.50 onward
