Tucked away in a serene and quiet Bukit Timah neighborhood, Picotin is an unassuming restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, a great selection of wines and a lovely food selection.Picotin has been one of my favourites ever since I'd tried one of their incredibly enormous pizzas for S$49. I returned to Picotin for the second try to sample their duck confit, as I am quite a fan of the dish and am always on a lookout for the best duck confit in the city.While not the best, definitely a top three for me - the duck confit was tender on the inside with a crispy crust on the outside. just the way duck confit should be. My companion had beef bourguignon which, he said, had a tad of a strong beef after taste. However, after trying it myself, I found the beef to be delectible and the beef tenderized and cooked to perfection.After my second visit, I can say with assurance that I will definitely return to Picotin to sample their many wines and enjoy the duck confit again.

Picotin is located near Turf City,with nice ambienceOrdered their pizza,The pizza was fantastic The are 4 cheese gorgonzola, parmesan, mascarpone & mozzarella. The smoked bacon added a further savoury hit. Perfect combinationclams-The juices from the clams, white wine & butter was absolutely addictive & perfect for soaking up with bread.Overall i rate 7/10

I went to pincotin for a nice meal with my girlfriend. We love this nice ambience. The serenity and peacefulness of the surrounding. I ordered the vongole while my girlfriend ordered the carbonara. Their pasta is simply delicious, the clams are very fresh and cooked perfectly. It is chewy yet not rubbery. Totally delicious. we ordered an additional Pan-seared foie gras with poached pear and duck rilette to share. It was delicious, totally love the foie gras, so tastily cooked. The poached pear brought up the flavour! Great place great food, a must try!

The flavour I tried was Falabella with additional top up of mushroom @ $2.50. The Pizza here comes with 9'' , 12'' , 21'', It can either be thin crust or calzone.Price: Cheaper then Firestation Hillside GastrobarEnvironment: Thumbs UP!Scenic, Peaceful, Relaxing, Enjoyable. A great place to grab a beer after work!Tuesday Movie Nights-Relax with a drink, pizza, and homemade popcorn while watching some old/new 'classic' movie on Picotin Big screen!
