FoodOrdered the black sauce noodles for $3, comes with a few slices of char siew meat and vegetables. Noodle is good but the sauce looks abit oily. Set comes with a bowl of pontian soup that fills with soya beans smell. Comes with 2 dumplings in soup. What makes pontian dumplings special is that their dumplings fillings ingredients consists of salted fish. Also, I love the soup alot and often if I were to take away the noodles, I will request for a packet of soup too.Besides having the dumplings in soup, they have the fried version in the dried noodles. If you like their wanton, it can be purchased separately.ServiceSelf service and overall generally ok.AmbienceSome parts of the lights are switched off during my sunday evening visit in the hawker centre and the seats at that area were not that bright. Crowd was not as much as the usual days as well.PricePontian's pricing is relatively standardised throughout its franchise.Recommendation / TipsPontian noodles is good. You do not need to worry about its noodles expand in size when you "ta-bao"! continue reading

I first knew about pontian mee a few years back when they had their branch at Far east plaza. Ever since then, i like their wonton mee.I'm not a lover of wonton mee at first, neither do i like the fried wonton. Usually i'd change it all to the soup wonton. But this wontee mee is really fantastic. Pontian is now a very famous F&B business with many branches islandwide. If you haven't tried their wonton mee, you should really visit one of the stalls one day.And it's very cheap, like any other coffee shop pricing. It's only 3 dollars! continue reading

I love the wonton noodles from pontian wonton mee. I always get my mum to takeaway whenever she comes back from work. The noodles are really crunchy, they are not the soft soft, stick to your teeth kind. The wonton is fried till really crispy. Very yummy, you can taste the freshness of the ingredients. They are also very generous with the char siew. The sauce or rather gravy they add in is very taste, and they add quite a lot, so it is not too dry even when we takeaway. continue reading

This store is actually situated in Jurong East Central (near the CPF building). Whenever i have my lunch here with colleagues, other than the fishball noodles, i'll always order the wanton noodle here. My favourite choice will be dry noodles with tomato sauce. I find that the portion is just right for me (lady's appetite) and this dish always work for me whenever i'm looking for a casual simple light lunch. continue reading
