I tried this popiah for the first time. I was there for frog leg porridge but still feeling hungry after eaten it so i decided to try this popiah for the first time. It was made by an elderly auntie. I ordered just 1 for $1.30. The filling was the usual turnips, bean sprouts, boiled egg etc. The chilli seemed to be the star of this popiah. It has got a distinct spiciness which i liked very much. The skin seemed to be handmade as it did not have the elastic feel nor too dry.
