Dad is feeling good and decide to treat us. He orders a serving of prawn noodle soup and a serving of fishball noodle dry. But we are served pork rib noodle soup instead of the ordered prawn noodle soup, When the server is being questioned, he is like acting nothing happens. We are all shocked and it seems similar cases also happen to tables next to us. Overall the standard of the dish has dropped. The soup is not as flavourful as it used to be.

I tried the pork rib prawn noodles here and it was rather average. The prawns were the smaller type and were quite soft and soggy, so I guess they weren't too fresh. The chilli powder, when mixed with the soup, added a little spice to it and was better. The soup itself was a little oily, perhaps due to the pork ribs, but was quite flavourful and a little salty as well. Portion was alright.

If you are a Mee Pok lover, you should try the mee pok at this stall ! As i usually don;t eat the pork thus i will ask auntie helps me made all fishball mee pok. Their fishball tastes fresh and chewy, which i believe is they handmade the fishballs themselves. The soup for the mee pok tastes sweet from the long boiled pork soup. Add a bit of chilli and i can finished a bowl of mee pok in less than 20 minutes. YUMMY .

Having something as simple and as healthy as this bowl of fishball kway teow once in a while can be a bliss. It was a cold rainy day and not having a great appetite so decided to have something soupy for lunch. It was a pretty clear soup with a good enough portion of kway teow together with 5 fishballs and a few slices of fishcake. I am rather interested to try their mee pok dry when i am in the vicinity again. It left me feeling healthy after done eating it.
