Here at Quiznos sub has a really wide range of sandwiches that will always be able to delight me during lunch or dinner hours First time I try their cup soup and in the end I still feel that having their sandwiches are more worth it and taste better. The soup base was quite plain and tasteless. The pasta was abit too hard, which really surprised me. Not much ingredients can be found in it as well and the portion is too little. continue reading

Quizznos is probably the best commercialized restaurant for quick and delicious subs. Scattered around Singapore, this restaurant is becoming more and more common in Singapore. Located at the world-famous Changi Airport , Orchard Central and even, Icon Village at Tanjong Pagar, it’s the best solution for a quick, delicious and satisfying lunch. When it first started out, I remembered trying it for the first time and getting my mind totally freaking blown! The steak sandwich is honestly the best. My mouth waters just thinking about it and would love to leave my desk job now to grab that sub!So, what’s so great about the steak sandwich?Their steak sandwich has the perfect balance of salty and sweet. Bite into the sandwich and you will hear the loud and reassuring crunch of the warm bread followed by an ooze of tasty sauce and tender beef. I soon figured out what brought out the flavors… You know, the right balance of awesome tasty savoriness and sweetness, not forgetting that warmth from their interesting looking conveyer belt sorta oven… Anyway, getting back to it, their secret ingredient… Bananas. Who would have thought. This sub totally sold me to the place and I soon found myself studying and meeting friends at the Quizznos of Orchard Central ever so often. The set meal comes with soup. I usually get the chicken soup mainly because of that one time, I watched an episode of FRIENDS and saw an episode of Joey eating chicken soup and of course, I went to a Quizznos right after that. continue reading

I finally gave in to my boyfriend who has been wanting to try Quiznos sub for a pretty long while. I was glad to see they had something for the vegetarians aswell. I went for the parmesan sub with the vegetarian option & topped up for a meal then came with a macadamia cookie and drink. What I personally love: The bread was extreamly soft! It tasted so fresh and I wouldn't mind eating it on its own ;D. The cookies there were also amazing! Both the bread and cookies were so much better then subway! The cookies here with crunchy yet soft at the same time which made them really addictive (:The downside: I did not like the idea that I could not choose what my sub should consist of. My sub consisted of way too many mushrooms (they were practically overflowing from the sub), a little lettuce, afew slices of tomatoes and a little cheese. I found the flavor of mushroom way too overpowering. The meal was also on the overpriced side.I would not mind coming back just for cookies though! ;D continue reading

It is my first time at quiznos despite walking by many times before as it didn't occur to me to try it as the price of it is more expensive as compared to subway. But i finally decided to try it today as my friends wanted to do so too. I ordered the honey bourbon chicken at $6.50 for the 6 inch sub. I did not know that we are not able to choose what toppings we want in our sub but we are allowed to select what kind of bread we want. I went with the white bread as i prefer it than those wholemeal kind of bread. The bread was slightly toasted and it was really nice and soft too. Overall i would say my sub was not too bad. I just wish that we are able to add toppings to it and add the sauce that we like to it. continue reading

It was my first time visiting a Quiznos. Always walked past the outlet at Orchard Central but I guess it never quite appealed to me. This time, the only reason why I budged was to give in to my boyfriend's request to try it out.I love the comfortable sofa seats and the very welcoming ambience (as compared to the rather 'saturated' Subway restaurant setting). But being a first-timer, I didn't quite get the ordering system was like at Quiznos. I actually thought it was like Subway's such that you could select your bread, the vegetables and dressing... but apparently, not. Anyway, although I did expect the meal to be even more mind-blowing than it was, I must say that the sandwich and the soup tasted really good. It's definitely worth the try! continue reading
