Bought a takeaway from this zi char stall for dinner. I've always frequent this stall with my family and had tried many of their dishes, but not their Xing Zhou Mi Fen so I bought it for dinner. Unlike those that I had from other stalls, they use the normal beehoon to fry it but the taste is alright. The amount of ingredients used is also quite generous. The serving is very big and I had to share it with my mum to finish it. continue reading

Last Saturday, My family and I went to have dinner at this Zi Char stall at Jurong West.We ordered Claypot Tofu, Stir-fried dou miao, Fish Soup, Sweet and Sour Pork and Chilli Crab. The dishes taste normal, nothing special. We were quite disappointed with the chilli crab, the gravy is quite blend and the crabs are quite small in size. Perhaps you can try their salted egg crab, it's much better!Overall, the aunty who served us is quite friendly, always giving us suggestions on what to order/ introducing their signature dishes. continue reading
