I ordered a bowl of dry fishball mee pok with chilli for S$3.00. The Mee Pok was springy & was cooked with the right temperature & timing and the noodles are not sticked together. The noodles was tasty and goes very well with the chilli sauce & lard. There are a lot of ingredients such as fishballs, big fish cake slices & minced pork. Their speciality is their bouncy and fresh fishballs and I like it very much.Even though there are no queue but average waiting time is about 30mins during peak hours & they will served to my table. Overall I find that this is one of the better fishball noodles that I have tasted & is a must try for all fishball noodles lovers!  continue reading

I eat at this stall regularly. They only sell fishball noodle and nothing else. I always like Mee Pok but they have other types of noodles too like Mee Kia, Kway Teow and Mee tak mai. I go for $3.50 but they have $3.00 too. Their fishballs have chewy and bouncy texture. They sell the fishball at 0.30 per piece. The waiting time is very long if you come during lunch or weekends. continue reading

I could not quite remember when was the last time i had their noodle but decided to try it today when the queue for my favourite bak chor mee gotten too long. I expected to wait much longer as this is one of the popular stalls in this food centre but i gotten my packet of mee pok ready to be taken away in 10 minutes. The lady boss smiled and said 'thank you'. The taste was not bad but not good enough to compare with my favourite stall at other part of Ang Mo Kio. The texture of the mee pok was a little too soft to my liking. The mee pok was served with ingredients like fishball, slices of fish cake and lean meat together with minced meat. Nicely fried pork lards added to enhance the overall taste quite a bit. The $3.00 serving is already quite a big portion for me. So, unless you are very hungry if not the $3.00 one should be good enough. continue reading
