Before i start to comment about the food, there is something i want to mention about this coffee shop. I haven't get to try every stall but based on the ones i've tried before, i noticed the portion for the food here tends to be smaller if compared to others. Haha! But i must say i do like the environment here. Quite cooling when there is breeze, and it's quieter if compared with the main hawker centre that's nearby. Now the food! Ok... Nothing bad about this dish! Sliced fish is fresh (very important ) and overall it was well prepared with a nice sweet soup base. But portion is kind of small and i wasn't satisfied after i finished the whole thing. I've tried both $3 & $4 but not much difference in the portion. I will strongly recommend another stall which is nearby at Blk 555 located at Frankie's Place Coffee Shop. For $3.50, they have a more generous portion and plus point is they already include lots of vegetables even without you requesting for it.

I was not too hungry so i decided to go with mee hoon kueh. I get to choose between the $2.50 and the $3.00 portion. I decided to go with the $2.50. A good portion of handmade mee hoon kueh was served in the clear tasting soup. It has got a very slight peppery taste with no MSG detected. It served with ingredients like a fresh tasting prawn, minced meat, egg and vegetable with ikan belis added just before served.This bowl of mee hoon kueh has got a very old school taste.
