As a mother of three, she sought to provide healthier options for her family, which led her to develop a sourdough starter named Annie, prized for its nutritional benefits. Her experimentation resulted in their bestselling CRUSTY SOURDOUGH TIN LOAVES, even featured on 8 Days. These loaves, unlike traditional sourdough, are baked in square tins using precise ingredients and special techniques, creating a golden, crisp crust, tangy flavor, and airy texture — a favorite for sourdough enthusiasts. What began as a hobby soon turned into a family business. In 2020, Gina’s husband, Ethan, joined her in managing their growing venture.
