Everyone is all about eating healthy these days. Seeing that there is a stall that claims to provide steamed food which is the healthier alternative to food that is prepared in other ways, I decided to try it. This is the Steamed Sliced Fish with Assam Sauce ($5.50). I doubt that this dish is healthier than say a plate of stir-fried vegetables due to the assam sauce which has lots of sugar and salt. However, I must give this stall due credit for its steamed fish slices. The fish was soft and smooth. The size of each sliced fish was also quite substantial so that was good. The gravy goes very well with rice so I cleaned up this dish quite nicely. For the price, this dish is not bad. I will eat this again next time.
