Today the family decide to have lunch together at the restaurant. As we are a big group, we take up 2 tables. We start the meal with Old Yellow Melon Soup. The soup is quite flavourful and has tender pork ribs in it.Next we have Roasted Duck which is cut into huge chucks. The meat is quite tender and juicy. It tastes quite nice with the plum sauce that served with it.The Char Siu is also quite nice too. It is well char grilled on the outside. It tastes quite juicy and flavourful. The Stir Fried Green Leafy Vegetables is quite crunchy and topped with flavourful chopped cai po. Quite a yummy combination. The Deep Fried Tofu is best dish of the meal. It is served 5 spice salt style. It tastes super crispy outside but hollow inside. It is a very interesting dish. The Sweet & Sour Pork turns out to be the let down of the meal. The meat tastes a bit tough and lack of crispy texture.Overall the meal is not bad. Food is served quite quickly. Tea is refilled often. And the place is not crowded during Sunday afternoon. continue reading

The food here is like home cooked food, and is extremely appetising! Their roast duck is a must try, but you better book one or go there early for dinner if you're hoping to try it, it gets sold out quite fast. Even their soup, sells out fast! The soup is different for each day, and they have special dishes each day, so you'll always be able to have something different and new. What makes this place stand out as well, is their humble ginger and chives paste which you can dip your food in or mix it in your rice, it's very tasty, and it's a free condiment that is served as a customer service. The price is quite reasonable, and I always go there whenever I have the time. continue reading
