This stall has other "siblings" from Super Mummy, from chicken rice to char kway teow. The chicken rice stall was most popular, judging from the long queue at the stall. Since the name - "Super Mummy" appealed to me, I thought I'd try out 1 of the stalls. So, I picked this stall, which was nearest to my table. I ordered Laksa.Disappointing. The laksa gravy looked like it was rich with coconut milk, but to my dismay, it wasn't and was rather bland. Perhaps I should have mixed in more sambal chilli to enrich the taste, but I would just be eating chilli. The other standard ingredients were all present - beansprouts, "hum" and beansprouts, but there was no egg. In place of it were 2 fishballs. No shout, as the fishball texture was a little tough. My friend ordered the Bak Chor Mee from the same stall and was equally disappointed. Initially, I thought she had made a better choice than me, as I saw quite a lot of bak chor in her noodles. But, she said it wasn't tasty.Oh well, no 2nd visit for sure. I'd rather try out other stalls at this FC on my next visit.
