This dessert shop is recommended by a friend when we met at Marina Square on early August. It's her date with the bf and it is a good place for sweet tooth session as well. It is absolutely taste like the name of the dessert shop. The design of the shop is simple and comfortable. I will definitely pay a visit again to try other desserts listed in the menu. It is located at B1 , Marina Square Mall. The owner was friendly and it is self-service basis. We will place order at the counter and they will deliver the dessert to us.Chocolate fondant @ S$7.90 Warm self saucing cake with green tea ice-cream. I always tried chocolate brownie with vanilla ice-cream. But i never expect the combination with green tea ice-cream would turn out to be perfectly yummy as well. Warm chocolate cake with the cold ice-cream blend into your mouth. Aww...saliva is drooling now!The owner recommended Aussie Pavlova @ S$6.90 per servingMeringue with whipped cream, fresh fruits, passion fruit pulp sauce. It's full of sweetness but not overdose. Personally feel refresh with the fruits to compel with the whipped cream. You won't feel so fattening in terms of psychology minds?haha! I totally buy over by this dessert. I think the thing about this place I liked the most was the service. The services staff was extremely friendly and had a lot of initiative, she was really sweet. My glass of water got refilled without me having to ask and she was really good at promoting the desserts. I tried a couple of desserts; this is still my favorites, the donut with ice-cream. The rest I think is like so only. continue reading

Being dessert lovers, we decided to embark on a journey to unearth the hidden gems of both the East and West, and it turned out to be a remarkable one dotted with treasures and only a couple of disappointed digs.Personal favorites from the East include dulce de leche crepe (crepe filled with milk and caramel served with peanut butter ice cream), coconut mango roll (coconut sheet wrapped with fresh mango) and black and white sesame panna cotta. To cut the guilt, both beancurd barley and green bean and seaweed soup are good choices. As for the West, chocolate fondant with green tea ice cream is simply divine while aussie pavlova (meringue with whipped cream, fresh fruits and passionfruit pulp sauce) beckons when I prefer something light yet tantalizing enough to excite my mega sweet tooth.Apart from the friendly and efficient staff, it's the chef who makes the journey even sweeter and endearing. Ever jovial and enthusiastic, she never fails to amaze me with her creativity. Though we've not tried all her interesting takes on the ubiquitous creme brulee, the blueberry version has spurred us to embrace flavors other than the traditional one.Expectantly, this bright and cheery cafe promises a welcoming vibe no matter when we drop by. Weekdays are excellent for a quiet read while weekends are bursts of vibrancy as couples, friends and families bond over some luscious treats.Well, our journey may have ended, having tried all the desserts sans the snow ice and drinks, but now we're ready to take a trip down memory lane, as some treasures are worth revisiting time and again. continue reading

Walked through the marina link and was craving for some icy cold dessert and stumbled across this shop. Had dinner already so just popped by for some dessert. The restaurant had only 2 groups of people and was rather unoccupied. Ordered a mango shaved ice that costs about $6. Came with fresh mango and strips of coconut jelly. The taste was nothing out of the ordinary, the mango flavour in the ice was not strong enough and the coconut jelly wasn't an exact complement to the dessert. Definitely a lot to improve on the quality and flavour. The portion was extremely small for the price and it was barely enough to share. They also do offer smoothies and cakes with tea and coffee and some daily specials but till a certain timing. continue reading
