Swissbake outlets are all over Singapore and I would sometimes drop by to takeaway some of their pastries! The Bretzel with Salt ($1.60) is basically pretzel made of bread! This is my first time trying such a creation and honestly, I find this combination tasted kind of weird. It is like the very chewy version of pretzels and I shall stick to having the original pretzel or bread next time!I love both the Mini Chocolate Roll & Palmier Vanilla Chocolate ($1.10 each)! I love both the Mini Chocolate Roll & Palmier Vanilla Chocolate ($1.10 each)! Both are filled generously with chocolate except that the palmier has an extra filling of custard, yum yum!

I got the turkey ham and cheese kraftkorn sandwich for lunch. It is quite filling and was really delicious. The bread looked really healthy and tasted even better than it looked. It was crispy on the crust and soft on the inside. The fillings were generous and there was cream cheese spread on the bread instead of butter, making it even healthier. The thick slice of cheese matched well with the turkey ham. It was really really good.

Vanilla chocolate lattice is one of the many small mini pastries available at swiss bake. It is something like a pastry that is filled with vanilla flavoured pastry cream with chocolate added. The custard is average tasting, a little too heavy and dense in my opinion. However the chocolate is nice and rich tasting and the buttery pastry is a delight to eat

Hazelnut crunch cake is not the most apt description for this $29 half kg cake ~ milk chocolate mousse cake would be more suitable as we could barely discern any taste of hazelnut in the cake. Great texture, the cake sat on a chocolate biscuit base and was topped by silky milk chocolate icing that was not too sweet and with white mocha decor. Nice but not the best from Swissbake.
