Have always though that mains at TCC were above average and presentation of dishes was good. This time, I ordered the Crumbed Mushroom Patty with Wild Mushroom Glaze; the description on the menu was very enticing, but it didnt come with pan-fried cheese as stated. As I didn't like tomatoes, I asked them to omit it, which explains the huge load of potato wedges. The patty itself was average, can't really put a description to it, doesn't have a very strong mushroom taste. The sauce complements the patty well though. But too much fried stuff may not be a good thing. continue reading

Ended our Friday with a meal at tcc. We decided to have some snacks instead of ordering main course because we didn't have the feel to have the main course. We ordered the deluxe platter which cost 16.90 bucks which consist of mozzarella cheese sticks, calamari rings and onion rings and mentaiko shrimp martini which cost 11.90 bucks. The deluxe platter came with 2 dipping sauces one was a little sourish and I guessed it was citrus and the other tasted somewhat like BBQ sauce. Personally, I prefer the citrus sauce. The mozzarella cheese sticks and calamari rings were delicious, they weren't too greasy and the calamari rings weren't too tough. The onion rings were a disappointment. They were onion rings I can get from Burger King, they were not even real onions at all. The mentaiko shrimp martini was a disappointment too. They were crunchy but the batter was a bit too thick and covered the juiciness of the prawns. I have never eaten mentaiko and up till now I have no idea what was mentaiko supposed to taste like because the prawns didn't carry the flavour it at all. Nice presentation, but not really enjoyable. continue reading

This is exclusively put inside a plastic irregular shape plastic bowl. I kept the bowl after use and it can be for further baking uses. The cake they sold are all very special and for this you can see the layers they put in... The strawberry itself is fresh and topped on the cake and the cake has layers of strawberry and cream in between. The sweetness melt inside the mouth.. continue reading

This choco stick is nice.It looks really cute and attractive. It looks like the icecream stick from Walls. But it taste nicer than it.The crispy outer choco with some hazelnut. The hazelnut add the crunchiness to it.It is not too sweet and i like the chocolate cake inside too.It is soft and smooth. But it is quite small in piece, so it considers as a quite expensive dessert. continue reading

We came here to enjoy their annual GSS one for one main course promo which definitely makes lunch for two at TCC very affordable. We had Shrooms & Splash Gratin ($17.50) which is baked penne gratin filled with shrimps, drizzled in melted mozzarella cheese and served with mushroom slices and seasonal vegetables. The portion of this dish isn't very big and definitely caters to smaller eaters. But those who love baked pasta with cheese would definitely find this dish very tasty and fulfilling. The other main course we got was the very healthy Wild Shrooms Spaghetti ($16.80). It is al-dente spaghetti served with sauteed mushrooms and asparagus slices, definitely suitable for the health conscious. It is even certified Healthier Choice by the HPB on the menu. Mushroom and vegetable lovers will enjoy the fragrant mushrooms and asparagus slices fried together in the springy not too soft al-dente pasta which was not overly oily too. continue reading
