Mixed Rice can be luxury and expensive too. This is my first time to try this stall. A huge range of vegetables, meat and dishes to choose from. It was already very famous since the first day I knew Tekka Market here.I ordered Sausages, BBQ Chicken in small pieces, Ikan Billis Sambal and curry gravy. It was flavourful, combination of too much of taste. Yet, it still considered delicious for me. Personally like the Ikan Billis, a bit sweet and crunchy. The most attractive point was its curry. Indian-style curry with a lot spices, not too spicy but savoury.Price wise, maybe slightly expensive, $5.50 for my lunch. The portion quite big, next time I will considered share it with my colleague.

Was super hungry and since I was around the area, decided to have rice for lunch. I walked around the hawker and decided on this stall. Verdict: It didn't give mi the feel of wanting to eat it again. The sambal long beans taste avg but the bringal are sour! Rice grains are not too soft and curry sauce is too watery. Total I had 3 vege dishes plus rice at $2.50. The price was quite ex as compared to other places where $2.50 you can get 2 veggie + 1 meat dish and rice.

Some rather pricey economical rice to eat at a hawker centre, the pricing is almost equivalent to food court liao. The sze chuan vegetable was okay only, the taste was a little bland but still acceptable la. The tofu was nothing special but the meat tasted pretty nice. The onion in it helped to strengthen the taste of the sauce with a tinch of sweetness when you bite on the onion.

I came during lunch on a Saturday and there was a few people waiting to order their plate of rice right in front of this stall. I waited for 5 minutes to be served. I ordered a piece of pork chop, fried chicken and tau kwa with vegetable and requested for extra curry sauce for my rice. The vegetable was overcooked, very rubbery thus unappealing, i picked them out and left it aside, unfinished. The tau kwa was alright though, the pork chop was pretty well marinated but a little too dry thus tough. The fried chicken turned out to be better than expected. The curry sauce was alright with the right level of spiciness. Paying $4.50 for 2 meat and 1 vegetable dishes is a little pricey. Somehow, i would rather go to the other famous stall located at Jalan Besar for curry rice.
