Signature Dishes
The FoodI ordered a bowl of Mee Kia Dry with lots of chilli sauce with fresh ingredients like fish cake, fish dumpling and fishballs. The noodles are springy in texture. The fishballs are bouncy, succulent and very fresh and does not have a fishy smell. The secret of its good taste lies in their spicy chilli sauce and vinegar hence making the fishball noodles complete. The PriceReasonably priced at $3 with decent portionOverallI will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!

I haven't tried from this stall before, but looking at the queue, I decided to just join in since I had some time to spare for lunch. After a 15 minutes wait, I got my bowl of fishball noodles. The fishballs are quite oddly shaped which means to say it is probably handmade instead of machine made. It is very tasty as well, it has more bounce and bite to them than the other fishballs that I had outside. The noodles are also very tasty with the mix of the sauce, vinegar and chilli. It has been a long time since I truly enjoyed a bowl of fishball noodles this good.

Whenever we go to Tiong Bahru, there were two stalls that we would definitely patronise. They were the Shui Kueh stall and this Teochew Fishball stall. There was always a long queue for this store. According to my observation, part of the reason for the queue was because the seller was very slow in his cooking.I believed that the fishcakes and fishballs were homemade. The fishballs were a little greyish. The fishcakes were orange. The texture of the noodles was between QQ and soggy. It was different from those food court, one-recipe-type fishball noodle. Both the fishballs and fishcakes were very fresh. This is one of those few original taste fishball noodle passed down from previous generation.
