Signature Dishes
I was here for lunch with my son. We ordered a Chicken Burger. This burger is the combination of Mozzarella Cheese, lettuce, tomato and the chicken patty. They used Pesto Mayonnaise as dressing. I can taste beetroot in the burger too. The chicken patty was quite big in size. They fried it well to leave a nice crispy outer layer. The burger is big enough to be shared.

This is my second visit to this burger outlet. I wanted to try what i had the first time. I ordered the same cheese burger served with bacon. The nicely grilled beef patty has got a tender and juicy texture. It matched perfectly with the metled cheese and grilled bacon. The slice of tomato and lettuce added the perfect tough to the burger. Their buns are one of the nicest among all the gourmet burgers that i tried. Their thick cut fries happened to be one of the best too. The nice way to enjoy it is with a beer!

Before you think I'm going to dismiss this burger joint, allow me to let you in on one important detail. I only tried one thing - The Better Basket.Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try the burgers, which they should be known for (according to the name). So this review will solely be on the better basket. For a price of $15, you'll get TBB fries, buffalo wings, cheesy chicken bites and calamari.I think paying $15 for a sampler is a little too much to me, but then again, I'm not a fan of samplers. I usually go for the main course. Overall, the better basket wasn't bad, but it just wasn't that fantastic. The TBB fries were one of the few things I liked. The texture is akin to Long John Silver Fries, but had some pretty tasty seasoning to it. It was sort of like having seaweed fries. They actually gave a lot of this, which was nice. The buffalo wings were more like black pepper wings. They're a little spicy. As I don't eat spicy food, I gave those to my friend. She said they were pretty good. The texture was nice- it was well grilled. The cheesy chicken bites were fine. They were a little dry. The cheese came separately, and tasted much like cheese to dip nachos in. It had a hint of spice, but wasn't that cheesy. I was a little disappointed in this one. I expected gooey cheesy chicken bites, but it just felt really dry.The basket also came with a variety of sauces. This is one positive about it. There was a strange wasabi cream sauce?, a chilli, and somewhat of a barbecue mixed with ketchup kind of sauce. The barbecue one was a little strange when we first tried it, but we both couldn't stop dolloping everything into it. Hahaha. It was strangely addicting. The calamari was all right as well. The texture was nice, not too chewy, which was great. This is a nice one to share as the portion is rather large. My friend and I shared and couldn't finish it. However, it just left us feeling extremely parched. I just felt like I was eating a variety of dried food. Still, don't let this review deter you from visiting the better burger yourself. I say go for the burgers! I know I will. I already have my eye on the avocado chicken burger

Have you heard of The Better Burger, the new burger joint in town? The Better Burger, is a rather boastful yet attention catching name. It has newly opened in Mohamed Sultan, co-located with Pizza Memoirs, Tiffin North Indian and Baan Khun Nai Authentic Thai Cuisine at The Foundry. The whole place is an alfresco concept that given you the chance to appreciate the wonder of nature, be it a sunny day or a rainy one in a relaxing ambience. And, this is, one of the best hangout places with good friends for a couple of beers, burgers and watch soccer. There is a big screen TV in the compound. This is a perfect place to sit back, unwind and chill out after a long day. There are only have 3 chicken burgers: chicken ($10), Avocado Bacon ($13), Pesterella ($12) and 8 beef burgers: Classic ($10), Cheese ($12), Cheese Bacon ($13), Pesterella ($13), Mexican ($13), Shroom ($14), Avocado Bacon ($14) and Double Double ($19).If you want something extra then you might want to go for their various top-ups: egg ($1), cheddar ($1), bacon ($1.50) and Portobello ($3). You can have various sides to go along too. You can choose from fries ($5), calamari ($10), cheesy chicken bites ($8), 6 x buffalo wings ($10). If you want to have a taste of everything then you should go for the Better Basket ($15). There is no GST added to the above prices. If you are a cheese lover then you should try the Cheese Bacon Beef. A thick beef patty with bacon, tomato, iceberg lettuce, mayonnaise, gherkin, cheddar cheese and barbecue sauce. It served along with crispy fries. The highlight is none other than the juicy patty, handmade from the non-frozen Australian quality beef and they only cook upon order. And the buns used for burgers are baked daily to ensure its freshness.A tad disappointment, I would prefer to have crispy bacon, which it is not quite so in this instance but it still complemented the burger nicely. If you do not want your hands to get messy then you might want to eat it with the cutlery thoughtfully provided. We ordered a Pesterella Chicken Burger, too. The burger consists of pesto, mozzarella, iceberg lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise and beetroot slices. This is, no doubt, one of the most unexpected but awesome combinations. The chicken patty was quite a huge piece but moist with a slight crisp with a layer of pesto mayonnaise. This is, one of the better burgers in town, simply juicy, delicious and so irresistible. Strongly recommended.
