Not many people would have notice this place tuck right at the corner of basement 1. The name "The Market" probably suggested why a lot of people may not realise there is a restaurant selling pasta and soup. The set meals come with a main course, a soup plus a choice of salad or free flow drink. You will get to choose your choice of pasta, soup and salad. I settled for a minestrone soup which was nice and tasty. For the salad, I went for the caesar which was my favourite. It did not disappoint me. Lastly the main, carbonara spaghetti. Creamy and nice. The restaurants at Central are usually quite crowded. If you want to avoid the crowd or prefer a quieter place, I found this place quite a steal. continue reading

It was one Saturday. After finished my work at 1pm, i went to clarke quay to meet up with the boyfriend for lunch. Both of us were so hungry and we walked around whole clarke quay but we still cant made up our mind for what we should eat. So we went down to the basement which is the market and finally we found one! Above is the Teriyaki Chicken dish i ordered. It was delicious and it was tasty. It comes with an egg and some cabbages. It had the homemade dish's taste. Its only $5.50. continue reading

The place is like a supermarket selling drinks, cereals, even stationary cum cafe with wine, pasta, fruits counter and a chocolate counter.House wine at $5 per glass all day round is a good deal and sittings are very comfortable with lounge chairs and televisions.A good place to chill out after all the shopping. continue reading
