The Ship Restaurant (Closed)

I like the simple oldie feel of the place.Feels like the type of western restaurant my parents used to bring me when I was a kid.Had dinner there with my colleagues and I found the food disappointing including the desserts.The desserts are below-average while the food is so-so only. Our dessert crepe is soggy while the banana spilt is dry as the strawberry sauce is just swirled around the whipped cream.The service staff are also slow and cannot handle simple requests like forgetting to bring us

The Ship has being around for a long time. We went specially to try the set lunches. The prices range from $10.90 to $34.90 for executive set lunches. The menu for set lunches changes everyday. Soup of the day was Pumpkin soup served with warm rolls & butter. We ordered 2 executive set lunches and 2 normal set lunches. The executive set lunches comes with 1/2 lobster and choice of main course. We had grilled pork chop and grilled fish with the lobster. The other was Fish and Chips and fried Spri

My hubby and I go NEX shopping and movies. After movies, we are hungry and decided to have dinner. I found one resturant rather familiar, it is The Ship. I told my hubby that i have tried once at the other branch @ Shaw Centre. I told my hubby that the food is not bad and he had never try before. We decide to eat at the ship. The food is good, price ok and i love the environment. Defintely will go again.

This is the best escargot i had until now. Its not too hard and the taste of the escargot just linger in your mouth even after you swallow it. I myself had two plate of this. The steak there was not bad as well. Tender and fresh. It is a good place to have dinner with friends or family. I am sure they will all enjoy the food there.
