This is one of my most craving breakfast items whenever I feel like boosting some really quality energy from this breakfast half-cooked eggs from Toastbox. At less than two dollars, I get to enjoy two half-cooked eggs which the stall assistant crack the eggs for us on their serving plate. Personally I like my half-cooked egg to be mixed with more portion of the dark soya sauce and black pepper as well which will make it very fragrant. The texture of it is very smooth as well too.

Toast Box at Capital Square is always crowded and has a queue on weekdays during lunch as most people hang out here for coffee after their meal. I ordered the mee siam take away as I was in a hurry. The mee siam taste average without being too spicy. The service staff separated the gravy from the bee hoon upon request. It costs $3.80 for it.

Another coffee and toast place. They have great coffee here... not sure about their toast. We still prefer the original Killiney Toast from Killiney Rd. Everyone is doing various versions of the kaya butter toast but it always tastes like something is not right or something is missing. Only the Killiney Rd original tastes like it's all there!Be prepared to queue up for your coffee or drink, as everyone is getting their coffee/drink fix from here. Not many people stay for the toast... They have a great variety of drinks, not just coffee or tea, hence the queue. Not a fan of their toast but their other "kopitiam" foods are okay for lunch. And their great variety of drinks is very interesting. Like their "chendol" drink in a glass. A cheap place for breakfast, lunch or afternoon and morning tea. They open early and shut late. In a very convenient location, good prices and nice service. Drink prices could be cheaper, but due to the "novelty" of their many drinks, the price isn't as cheap as it could be. The food prices are still comparatively cheap. The "white" look of this place makes it stand out from other copycat coffee and toast places. Although the queue is long, there's plenty of seats available as most people take away.Didn't take photos of the food or drinks as people were staring at what I was doing with the camera... and the presentation isn't anything spectacular or different to other coffee and toast places!
