I always take away the food from umisushi,because the place is really small.This udon is quite nice.I like the big udon,because of its softness.The ingredient is also quite much,So dont see it is quite a small bowl,but it really can fill my stomach.This bento looks delicious.Rice,Chicken and some vege.It taste not really like a japanese food.It just the sauce of the chicken is a bit like teriyaki sauce.I had the feel to be cheated,because it is really like a normal economic rice.Disappointed. continue reading

Sushi is a great snack at any time and can also fill your tummy when you are hungry! I love raw sushi and besides salmon, I love the maguro sushi as well. I like the iron taste found in raw tuna. When dipped in wasabi it covers some of the smell that I dont like. The meat is soft and falls apart easily. continue reading

I happened to pass by umi sushi at pioneer mrt and I decided to buy some sushi back for supper. The variety was quite a lot, I was kind of spoilt for choice. I decided to try their lobster salad sushi. I was surprised to find lobster pieces in it. I expected then to mince everything up until you can barely see any lobster bits. The lobster salad went really well with the sushi rice. Quite a satisfying supper. continue reading

Umi sushi finally opened a branch in the heartlands. Ever since I tried their lobster salad sushi at the branch at citylink. I was completely hooked on. I love the way they mixed the fish eggs with the mayo and the way the lobster taste together with the mayo. I can taste a tinge of wasabi in the lobster salad as well. However it does cost a bit more then other normal sushi, nevertheless, it taste really good! continue reading
