The first thing that attracted me to this stall is the huge variety they offer - they have over 200+ options in the small coffeeshop stall. If you're wondering why they can cook so many, it's because they have all sorts of permutations like Sweet & Sour/Black Pepper Chicken/Pork/Beef/Seafood Rice/Horfun/Beehoon etc. Most of them range from about $4 - $5.50. The auntie in-charge of the stall is quite friendly and introduced some of the dishes to us. This time I ordered the Black Pepper Seafood Ri
This time I ordered the Black Pepper Seafood Rice ($5). It is really quite spicy from the black pepper and needed a drink to go with it, definitely! Even my friend who could take spicy food admitted that it is indeed quite hot. The sauce is very savoury and delicious to go with the rice, there are also squid rings and prawns inside, although the serving is a little smaller than I hope. One recommended dish is the Chilli Crab Beehoon that my friend tried, she says that there is really the chilli crab taste and it's also quite affordable.
Just a stone's throw away from NTU Yunnan Gardens. A hidden find and a place I might be coming to avoid the school's lunch crowd!
P/S: They don't open in the afternoons after lunch, I think. Around 4pm.
