Introduction
“Tik-tok tik-tok” filled the air, as individual noodle sellers played their own signature chorus, announcing their arrival. It was back in 1968, where a man in his early 20s had began venturing into the culinary world.
In the day, he would stationed his push cart on the road, and by night, he would relocate and stationed at one of the back lanes of former Koon Seng Road. This went on for as long as 6 years or so, before he shifted to Dunman Food Centre in 1974.
Back then, there was only Wanton Noodles on the menu. It was only after the renovation at Dunman Food Centre, where he progressively introduced more dishes such as Dumpling Noodles and Braised Chicken Feet with Mushrooms.
Seng’s Wanton Noodles lived up to its name due to the loyalty of many prestigious customers, generations after generations.
