Best Prawn Noodles Ever!!!

This was my 2nd/ 3rd time eating this Prawn Noodles, and I am pleased to call it the BEST PRAWN NOODLES ever (unless I find another one)!!! It didn't "wow-ed" me the 1st time round, probably due to the hot weather that made the whole Food Centre an inferno! But it certainly did this time round, and I REGRETTED not ordering the soup version (should have taken the cue from the 2 customers b4 me ). It didn't "wow-ed" me the 1st time round, probably due to the hot weather that made the whole Food Centre an inferno!
But it certainly did this time round, and I REGRETTED not ordering the soup version (should have taken the cue from the 2 customers b4 me
). I noticed that other customers typically ordered beehoon or had it mixed with noodles in soup (the stall has visible stock of beehoon more than other noodles). But I had to be stubborn in my preference, by ordering Kway Teow Mee in dry version!!!
I was foolish enough not to catch onto the drift!


The sauces for the dry version blended so well - not too spicy, yet flavourful (oh, but I did requested for less chilli, as prawn noodles always sucked the soul out of me in their original chilli version!
). Pieces of prawn, pork and fishcake were adequate (as you can see from the pic, they made up the top of the noodles
). I instantly knew then I would give a good review for this dish, so others would come by and attest for themselves!


When it comes to the soup (no pic since it looked like any other prawn noodle soup), it was so flavourful!!!
There was certainly enough ingredients (or more) to brew such a soup!
WHY DID I NOT ORDER THE SOUP VERSION???


So, take a lesson folks! Order the SOUP version, no matter how hot the weather is!!! It is really WORTHWHILE!!!

Prawn noodle with fish cake and pork

The prawn noodle with kway teow at this stall is nice. I like it that the auntie added some pork meat and fish cake too. The soup is sweet and the prawn taste is strong. Can tell that it was cooking for hours with the prawn head. Bean sprouts were added to make eating the noodle more crunchy. Auntie is quite friendly too. Sometime she will make comments about the weather etc.
