Having meal at foodcourt was definitely an economy way to fill up hungry tummy, quick and convenient. Standing in front of Western stall, I took minutes to think what I should order. Staff recommended me valuable pasta set, it came along with either pork chop or chicken and drizzle of desired sauce. Easily cut through meat, chicken was tender and hot while it served. Noodles were springy with sufficient portion, sweet tomato sauce poured on top. Huge fries put aside, I ate them with chilli sauce. Although it was only foodcourt, yet the ambience was comfortable. The stall appeared clean, eye-catching with Signboard. My lunch was $6.50, it was cheap. continue reading

The dory fish's batter was average in thickness and rather crispy. The fish tasted normal, nothing worth mentioning. It was not too oily. The fries were fried just nice but not crispy. The portion was very slightly more than average. It actually costs $9 but it's on promotion for $7.50 which comes with the mushroom soup. The soup was a bit thick and tasted quite pleasant, with a strong taste of mushroom. continue reading

Spaghetti with chicken chop $7The chicken chop was quite tender as the thigh portion was served. The sauce could be hotter so that it would taste better. The portion was just right for one person, not too much nor little. The creamy sauce spaghetti lacked fragrance in my opinion and spaghetti seemed to be a little overcooked. I feel that $7 is a little expensive for the quality because the spaghetti tasted rather mediocre. continue reading

i was walking around the food court and I decided to try the western stall. I ordered their fish and chip. I waited quite some time for the person to deep fry the fish. I was not very impressed with the portion, cos when I finish every single thing on the plate, I was still hungry, maybe I do have a big appetite as the fish does look quite large in size. The fish was good, no fishy taste. continue reading

I ordered fish and chips from the western stall at west mall’s koufu. It took some time for the person to deep fry my fish. The fish fillet was very large piece. The fish was very fresh and the meat tasted very sweet. I like the coslaw the best. It was very creamy. the dressing they added to it was light and refreshing. The fries were crinkle cut, it was very crispy and the person gave quite a lot of fries as well. continue reading
