Located on the 4th floor is this quiet cafe tucked in YMCA which interestingly is at the begining of Orchard Road, just 5 mins walk away from dhoby ghaut MRT.They have a wide range of choice of high tea ranging from sandwiches, cakes and even gelato at $6++I went with Papitto Gelato which is delivered here from their ubi headquarters.They have a wide range of flavours and was told by the friendly staff that durian was the most popular.Sadly durian was all sold out! I went with Papitto Gelato which is delivered here from their ubi headquarters.
They have a wide range of flavours and was told by the friendly staff that durian was the most popular.
Sadly durian was all sold out! So I went with Tiramisu, the next best option recommended by the friendly staff.
There's ample seating in this quiet and quaint cafe. There's also an outdoor seating area which is normally reserved for functions.
The gelato itself tasted quite powdery and didn't quite like it. It did have a light tiramisu taste and I had to wait a good 5 minutes before I was able to sink the metal tea spoon into the frozen tiramisu.
I do like the ambience in this cafe and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I might come back here to try other foods and maybe the durian flavoured gelato.
