Signature Dishes
Got the normal kaya-butter toast set for $4.60, which is actually pricier than going to coffeeshops or food courts to have some toast, eggs and coffee. Perhaps what sets them apart is that they give 2 slices of bread as compared to cheaper ones. I had hot milk tea together with my toasts and eggs. One thing that I didn't like was that my eggs were already cracked, and this leaves me to start to eat the soft boiled eggs first, rather than the toasts first, else the eggs will turn cold and it will not be nice anymore. It will be much better if I had the option to crack the eggs myself. So I had the toasts after that, and they went cold already. Furthermore, some parts of the bread were burnt and it didn't taste really good. The toasted bread was quite hard and not crunchy at all. The milk tea was okay, just that it's abit sweet.

Me and bf popped by yakun for some drinks after our dinner. I ordered the hot milk tea while he had the cold barley. As usual, I am pleased with the hot tea as it tasted better than food court standard. However to our horror, my bf found some egg shell inside the barley. He spat it out and showed it to me! We didn't make any complaints as he was not uncomfortable with it. We decided to just pen down our thoughts here. We might consider our next visit to this outlet again.
