Ya kun bread is crispy and the bread is toasted into fairly crispy and burnt outer layer. With the whole slice of butter cube and their well-known famous, it makes the whole bread very delicious. Their hard-boiled egg is quite average.Their self- brewed coffee produced a very strong authentic coffee aroma, with every sip of coffee; I could taste the sweetness and bitterness simultaneously. continue reading

What makes Ya Kun a household name in Singapore is their signature kaya toast and other traditional food and beverages offered. Ya Kun has a rich heritage since its' establishment in 1944 till now.I am never bored of Ya Kun traditional toast and ice milk tea. Of course the running eggs also. The serving crew will help you break the eggs, and the eggs look so nice. Some coffee shop will ask you to break it yourself. I never see them fail on cook the beautiful running eggs. You can order your favorite toast and drink in set. continue reading

This is French toast from yakun! I was quite disappointed because it is just a thin slice of French toast that comes with yakun signature kaya jam. I not really like to eat this as I still prefer the French toast from hong kong restaurant. Hope yakun can consider serving one more slice of French toast for customer continue reading

Had a delicious cheese toast with kaya and a coffee for supper. The cheese literally melt in your mouth and was excellent with coffee. Also, I appreciate the kaya being served separately which allowed me to add exactly as much as I wanted. The open space on level 2 with quite comfortable and spacious.Enjoyed the experience very much. continue reading
