Many friends have been telling me that the fried kway teow from this Yong Huat stall is very delicious, so decided to check it out.  This coffee shop is comfortable as is quite windy and seats are quite comfortable as well.  The chef uncle is very friendly when I approached him for my order.  In less than 10 minutes, my fried kway teow is served to my table. For the price of $4, the portion is reasonable. However I disagree with my friend that the kway teow here is delicious.  The kway teow, which is the main lead for this dish, is soggy and too soft easily breakable.  Not much ingredients can be found in this local delight and even the cockles are too small to be able to locate it in this dish.  It is also too oily and salty.  Disappointing.Read More

This coffee shop has this very fam I us hokkien mee stall inside.  The uncle cooking it is very friendly and polite, which make you really feel warm and welcome.  For $4 per plate, is reasonable.  Portion was generous and noodles are chewy and not soggy.  Lots of beansprouts are in it which make every mouthful so crunchy.  Howevery prawns are not that fresh and is too soft.  The peawn stock used in this dish is flavourful and yummy.  Coffee shop is spacious and quite windy.Read More

The hokkien mie is too watery in my opinion. However the composition between each of the ingredients cover it up. The chilli is so shiok. It is a good choice between the seafood in the noodle. The pork lard is so crunchy and savoury. Ne noodles again are limp and soft and the sauce is pale and it has got bits of eggs in it.(Y)Read More
