Signature Dishes
I walked past this zi char place previously and salted egg squid on the menu caught my eye, so I suggested this place for dinner. As a fan of salted egg squid, this one's pretty alright, although not the best I've tried - the salted egg sauce is rich and thick, and slightly sweet (which I didn't quite like); at $12 a plate, it's quite worth a try. I also tried the cereal chicken - which is basically pieces of chicken cooked with crispy cereal - pretty good and unique and I love the huge load of cereal given. But i wouldn't order both dishes together again though, it gets quite jelat after a while as both dishes are very flavourful. Perhaps could try their beancurd dishes.
