Newton hawker centre is surprisingly a popular place for breakfast for several drivers, apparent from how filled the carpark is in the morning. For breakfast, usually its only the front row stalls that are opened. Chose this stall after seeing it does not not have any queue and i can sit just beside the stall and wait to be served. Ordered the handmade meatball noodle. Always like such meatballs if they are crunchy and crispy, i was not disappointed. At least it did not taste like it was left over since last night, they probably fried it only this morning. Also 6 balls were given. I also like that the fact that the dry noodle sauce mix is not too dry, so it keeps your noodles semi wet. i dun like those where very little sauce is given and sometimes yr noodles will clogged up. The soup however was very bland and i rather do without. Not an alcohol fan but maybe i shd try the xo version next time.
