This food court Lan Kwai Fong is nestled in the heart of Changi Business Park at the far end of the island. The most eye-catching item on the Chicken Delights menu is the Hainanese Chicken Rice set at $6.50. The set comprises two side dishes of bok choy, tofu and hard-boiled egg, as well as the chicken, rice and soup. The portion is good for one hungry person with big appetite (I can finish all of it on my own, if that is a good gauge).

I liked how generous they were with the Bak Choy Vegetables. I know vegetables are cheap but there are some places who don't even give enough vegetables. There are more than enough to go around. It is adequately seasoned but the temperature of the vegetables is cold. Pretty much everything served was cold though. They could do better by giving it a quick dip into boiling water.

I have mixed feelings about this Deep-fried Tofu; I liked the crispy tofu skin but the inside of the tofu has a strange, inconsistent bite to it. Not sure what caused it to be this way, but it is generally okay. I liked the hard-boiled egg! Its yolk is the gooey half solid half liquid sort, and truly enjoyable.

The chicken was inconsistent in its quality though, there were some slices of it that was really tender and delicious, but I also hit some that was quite hard too. On top of that, the chicken is not entirely boneless. The rice was average, faintly fragrant and they could add a bit more sesame oil to it. I was most impressed by the soup, you could tell the soup was cooked with chicken simmered together with it. There was also corn in the soup - a plus point for me!
