I went with mummy to soup restaurant for dinner. as we were both pretty small eaters, we ordered their signature “samsui ginger chicken” ($15.90) and a herbal soup. as we have been to soup restaurant a couple of times, we know the small portion of the “samsui ginger chicken” is actually pretty large for two people. The herbal soup which we ordered was double boiled cordyceps flower with chicken soup ($7.90). it was labeled as “nourishing” in the menu. the soup was indeed tasty, it had this sweetish taste as well. the “samsui ginger chicken” was really good, they served it with a pile of lettuce. It is for you to wrap the chicken with the ginger sauce in the lettuce. The chicken was very tender, the ginger sauce is the one that brings out the flavor of the chicken. It was a hearty meal for the two of us.
