Being a fan of Thai food, I try the same dishes at every Thai restaurant that I visit.Visited Bali Thai at Velocity and found out 3 things1) Thai food can be really spicy extra spicy(2) Thai food has become smaller in portion now(3) Thai restaurants can be priceyI highlighted the 3 points above because the usual Thai food that I have tried speak exact opposite of what I experienced at Bali Thai. So you work out the truth yourself. =)Dishes Tried:Sambal Kangkong (vege)Green CurryHoney ChickenRice

Sambal Kangkong (vege)
Green Curry
Honey Chicken

I would describe my dining experience at Bali Thai as "almost french".
+Small small portion of each dish
+Particularly spicy dishes (authentic thai)
+Free-flow rice
+Friendly staff
+Almost empty restaurant for a weekend dinner
-20% more expensive than an average Thai meal in SG
-No particularly nice ambiance nor interior design, hence no feeling of exclusivity
-Pretty open concept & people walking pass tend to look in, which counts by the minutes
If you like to have spicy Thai food and served in nice white dishes, with nice staff, not too crowded place, and willing to pay for them (the latter), then go to Bali Thai.
For me, I would keep hunting forward for Thai.
