I have heard too many good reviews for this placed called Pâtisserie Glacé, decided to go down to the outlet at Icon Village to give the cakes a try. I have heard too many good reviews for this placed called Pâtisserie Glacé, decided to go down to the outlet at Icon Village to give the cakes a try. There were so many attractive cakes displayed that I had a hard time deciding which one to order, so I just kept my choices to the two best-sellers cakes which are Strawberry Soufflé and Othello.

The whole cake shop was a rather small one, with a wide variety of cake choices as well as other sweet treats such as their pies and swiss rolls. I was hoping that there could have been a few tables and seats for customers to have their cakes when served freshly.

The Strawberry Soufflé was a good choice, especially strawberry lovers should totally try this cake! The soft sponge cake was layered in very fresh cream and of course, fresh sweet strawberries made it taste even better.

Even though Othello looks really sweet, I am surprised that the rich chocolate and cookie cream was just nice, not too sweet and all. The moist and soft chocolate sponge cake looked very pretty by the side view. And the best part was the layer of cookie crust at the bottom of the cake.

I would definitely go back again to try out the other cakes!
