The ambience at the Ion outlet Menya Mushasi is not bad but the seats are a little too cramped as the place is quite small. My friends and I ordered 3 sets of ramen. There are 3 types of soup base for the soup ramen, white for the original miso flavour, black for the burnt garlic flavour and red soup broth which is the spicy one.

White Cha Shu Ramen: The soup is quite thick and salty. (have been drinking lots of water while eating it) the Cha Shu is kind of disappointing as it is quite hard to chew on, probably a little overcooked. They give a generous serving of seaweed and vegetables. The egg is soft and nice. Noodles are springy and able to abosrb the flavour of the soup.

Black Kakuni Ramen: After eating half of the bowl, my friend got sick of the taste. The soup may be too thick and too salty too and the garlic taste may be too overpowering.

Red Tsukemen: Noodles and soup/sauce are served in separate bowls and the way to eat that is to take a mouthful of ramen n dip it into the soup/sauce and then into the mouth. It is quite a unique way of eating ramen and the sauce is quite nice. Since you can dip the ramen ito the suace, you can control the saltiness of the ramen. They even offer free up to times 5 upsize! Upsizing is definitely worth the price of it.

Side dishes:
Gyoza is not bad but it would be better if they make the skin more crispy and add more filling. Tongari rice is nice!
the minced, porkfloss-like pork smells nice and is delicious. A pity that it is a side dish though.
