Bangkok Express is the only Thai Cuisine Stall available in Newton Food Centre which sells authentic Thai Cuisine and all dishes contain no pork or lard. Spoilt by the available choices, it was quite hard to make a decision for my dinner. The stall is manned by a Thai lady and a man, comes to think of that, its a minority to see Thai hawkers in Singapore. I had finally made a choice and gave Fried Seafood Vermicelli a try. It comes with a bowl of clear tom yum soup and the plate of fried vermicelli which was loaded with ingredients like, prawns, beansprouts, sotongs, eggs, carrots and vegetables.

Serving was big where the moist level of the Tang Hoon (Vermicelli) was in good proportion. Even if one feels too dry, help yourself with a spoonful of the Tom Yum Soup, the sweet and sour nature with the additional spice would actually make dining more lively.

In my opinion, the Tang Hoon was a little bland, additional sauce taste could have make it more palatable.Nevertheless, it still tastes better than most of the Zhi Char Stall in Singapore.
