As japanese food is one of my favourite cuisines, I am always on the lookout for good japanese food in Singapore and I think that I have found the best Tako balls ever! Those who have been into Ion Basement food hall should be familiar with the long queues at Tsukiji Gindaco, which sells its famed Takopachi balls. They're usually warm and crispy on the outside, and filled with delicious goodness on the inside with fillings of octopus, beni shoga (red pickled ginger), tenkasu (crunchy flour bits)

They're usually warm and crispy on the outside, and filled with delicious goodness on the inside with fillings of octopus, beni shoga (red pickled ginger), tenkasu (crunchy flour bits) and leeks. Thus, it's a flavourful ball of goodness packaged within a crispy golden shell that makes it the best tako balls in Singapore! (in my opinion at least).
A set of 8 retail for $6.80 and these tasty treats are definitely something to try if you live under a rock and have yet to do so!
