On 9th October 2013 was the first opening day of this Singaporean opened Japanese Ramen Restaurant called Buta Ramen.

They were having a promotion today whereby the first 300 customers get to eat free, worth about $15. I was there early at about 11am and get to table table in a short while.

The staffs were very friendly to introduce their menu offerings and also told customers to self take their unlimited serving of condiments, cooked bean spourt and hard boiled eggs.

I had ordered the Black Garlic Chashu Ramen but got delivered the wrong order of Black Garlic Boss Rib Ramen.

When the Black Garlic Boss Rib Ramen came to my table, I could smell the heavy aroma of garlic oil soup base. However, the taste of soup was overly covered by the garlic oil, I could not taste the pork based soup.

The noodles were same as other Japanese Ramen Stalls, cooked just right with a bit of springy taste.

The Boss Pork Ribs tasted much liked western honey ribs. The Pork Ribs was very tender and soft, even the bones were soft. The meat could easily peeled of from the bones.

Overall, the Pork Ribs was good comparable to Morganfield's ones. For the Ramen, the taste was average.
