My friend has been wanting to try out the high tea at the Knolls. Ok, here we are on a Saturaday afternoon which we have made reservation about a day or 2 before that.Wow, the ambience here was really good. My friend has been wanting to try out the high tea at the Knolls. Ok, here we are on a Saturaday afternoon which we have made reservation about a day or 2 before that.

Wow, the ambience here was really good. We had choosen the indoor window seats overlooking the reflecting pools and distant sea! It was really beautiful! We felt really cosy, relax, leisure and lazy on this Saturaday.

The afternoon tea starts from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, from S$38++, which can be shared by 2 person. The menu was pretty limited and simple which comprised of 3 different type of afternoon tea - Queens Tea (English), Japanese Tea and Peranakan Tea.

We have decided on a Japanese Tea set which come with a 3-tier set (Quite special and quite wierd also. haha) - consists of wasabi sandwiches with carrot shreds (which i quite liked it), unagi tamago rolls (which tasted quite similar to sushi) and the little pastry whch topped with raspberry icing (which i dont really like it - too sweet for me!) is a very typical Japanese pastry that was a litle too sweet.

Overall, I found the food at Knolls was quite average only but their good service, lovely ambience and breathtaking view can actually make it up for that.
So this place is highly recommended for girlfriends or couple to laze around on a lazy afternoon.
