ReStore is a new vintage furniture shop located in the historic Tanjong Pagar Conservation District. The shop was the creation of two friends who love vintage furniture and decided to make a business out of what they love and do best.Rumours has it that the Japanese lady owner bakes her bagels and waffles so well that, they decided to have a café in their shop space where customers can get to taste her delicious bagels and waffles while shopping for furniture.There we had Cinnamon Raisin Bagel (
Rumours has it that the Japanese lady owner bakes her bagels and waffles so well that, they decided to have a café in their shop space where customers can get to taste her delicious bagels and waffles while shopping for furniture.
There we had Cinnamon Raisin Bagel ($5.50), served with walnut and cream cheese. I liked my bagel which was firm yet not too hard, giving some bite to the teeth. Its jam filling on the other hand was a pleasant surprise to the palate.
So next time should you want to inject a new life to your modern home with a few vintage accents, get down to Tanjong Pagar and you may just find what you're looking for at ReStore. Over delicious homemade waffles and bagels of course.
