I have heard quite a bit of this handmade Chicken Curry Puff at East Coast Lagoon Food Village. And, this was my first visit to this stall. I have heard quite a bit of this handmade Chicken Curry Puff at East Coast Lagoon Food Village. And, this was my first visit to this stall. This stall is only selling Chicken Curry Puff and nothing else.

The Uncle was busy making the curry puffs right behind when i was there on a Saturday afternoon. I waited; he came over when he spotted me. I decided to get just 1 to try. Each puff is $1.30. First impression has to be the size of the puff was rather small.

First bite, it did not manage to really impressed me. It should have taste much better if eaten hot. This one was amongst the few that left on the display shelf on that day so i suppose it must have been left there for quite a while already.

The filling was moist with nicely soft but not mushy chunks of curry potatoes. The chicken pieces were rather small so you might need to look rather carefully to find it. It tasted a little spicier than most of the puffs but still, the spiciness level is pretty acceptable as my partner who does not eat spicy foods did not complain.

I am willing to give it another go when i am there again. Perhaps if i am in luck then i might be able to get a hot puff next round and it might have changed my opinion of it.
