I went hunting for snack while waiting for my partner to have late lunch at the newly opened Sergeant Kiang's Kitchen. Mayson's Bakery is conveniently located right at one of the entrances hence it became an obvious choice. I was contemplating whether to try one of those egg tarts or chicken pie but settled for the pie.I took a bite on the light and flaky pastry and only after the fourth bite then i started to taste the filling. I have tried better chicken pie than this so this is not going to be my choice. This chicken pie might be nice to look at but the taste was quite a left down.
Perhaps i should give their egg tart a try the next time.
